I am not afraid of an army of lions led by a sheep;

I am afraid of an army of sheep led by a lion.

- Alexander the Great

We all are afraid of various circumstances. Some are afraid of reptiles, for some it may be about their future, for some it may be concerning their past, for some it may be fear of people. Majority is scared to step into their destiny by fearing what others would think about them. Fear is one of the greatest reason why people give up their life, resulting in hopelessness and ending in suicide. What if their breakthrough was just a few seconds after they had given up their lives? We live in a world which claims only the fittest should survive. What about the rest ? Was this world meant only for a group of people ? The answer is a big NO.

King Solomon (990–931 BCE) who was one of the wisest king who ever lived, once quoted ‘ Delayed hope makes the heart sick, but fulfilled desire is a tree of life. ’ It is hard for a hopeless person to survive but a person who is strong in their heart, dreams are some footsteps away. A fulfilled dream can become a tree of life as it will bear more fruits of life by giving hope to someone who is about to give up. Your choices can make a difference in someone’s life.

Fear is the greatest stumbling block that hinders you from achieving your dreams. Also remember it always that your dreams should make the life of another person a better one. In this world of competition and backstabbing, let us make a difference by loving your fellow being and living with a purpose and an attitude of not giving up no matter what comes against.

Paul the saint, who was once a religious terrorist, after his personal experience with Jesus Christ was transformed into a new person. The one who was the reason for pain for many was then the reason of hope and joy for many. Once he was travelling to Rome along with 276 co-passengers. Suddenly, there was a heavy storm and the ship was about to wreck. Some of them were planning to give up as their hopes were shattered and everything was coming to an end. But Paul encouraged and strengthened them that they will together survive this crisis. The hope which Paul received from Christ, he imparted to his fellow passengers. The ship was destroyed because of the storm but all the passengers survived the storm and reached a nearby island. What if Paul had not encouraged his fellow brothers? Just like this, we all are in a ship which is called life, travelling together with our fellow beings. Storms may come, but lets have a heart to encourage one another and together survive the heart breaking shipwrecks and storms of life.

Once certain Pharisees [religious extremists] came to Jesus and said “ Run for your life! King Herod is on the hunt. He’s out to kill you!”

Jesus said, “Tell that fox that I’ve no time for him right now. Today and tomorrow I’m busy clearing out the demons and healing the sick; the third day I’m wrapping things up. Besides, it’s not proper for a prophet to come to a bad end outside Jerusalem.” — Luke 13:31–33[Holy Bible]. Herod was a cruel king who had killed many innocent people but when he threatened Jesus, His response was different.

When a challenge comes, let our response be also similar to the Son of God who continued His life in spite of threats and fulfilled His God-given purpose and destiny.

Only an over-comer can raise up more over-comers. Jesus was successful in His vision, therefore He could encourage Paul to be an over-comer who in turn raised more over-comers.

This Jesus of Nazareth can make a difference in your hopeless life. Just cry out your helplessness to Him wherever you are. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. He died in your place so that you can be an over-comer like Him. He was crucified on the cross, buried in a tomb under the guard of Roman soldiers and on the third day in spite of impossibilities, He became the first man to resurrect from among the dead. More than 500 people saw this Jesus who rose from the dead. No man has ever conquered death but only Jesus, the Son of God, has redefined history.

He divided the history into two, BC and AD. He can change your life as well as before Him and after Him. Just believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that

‘ Lord Jesus, forgive me for not being faithful with my life which you gave me. I need You. I believe and I thank You for dying on the cross for my sins, guilt, shame and failures. You rose again from the dead so that I can lead a victorious life. I open the door of my heart and receive You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of the throne of my life. Make me the person You want me to be. I trust and I follow You from now on till eternity. In Your Name. Amen.’

Dear friend, only a fool will say that life is all about eating, drinking and enjoyment. Aren’t you wise enough to understand that life is not about just 70 or 80 years of drama on earth ?

Your choice can make a difference in your life.

Choose Jesus! Choose eternity!

Roar over your circumstances with the Lion of Judah in His style.

May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding guard your soul and mind in Christ.

God Bless You

Shalom
